#notakaki : How To Disgrace A Lady by Bronwyn Scott

London most talked-about male, Lord Merrick St. Magnus did nothing by halves - be it in his debauchery, wagers and in love.

He accepted an invitation from a friend Jamie Burke to attend a midsummer house party in Kent to irk his father.

Together with Ashe Bedevere and Riordan Barrett, they travelled to Kent to avoid London for a while.

Merrick met Alixe in an utmost unconventional way - she was wondering in the wood, away from hustle and bustle at home and he was in his birthday suit having fun with his mates swimming in the pond.

The problem started when Merrick accepted a wager from Archibald Redfield to kiss a lady in the library in the middle of the night. Merrick strode confidently and waited. Only to be surprised that a certain lady is in fact Alixe Burke herself.

When they get caught in unconventional compromise situation, the Earl of Folkestone gave Merrick the altimatum. Make her daughter the Toast of the Season or marry her himself at Season's end as penance for his failure.

Never a husband material, Merrick vowed to win the wager and his lessons started immediately the next day until the end of Season.

Since both of them had no other way to escape their predicament, Alixe half heartedly agreed to obey all his instructions and he will assist her to complete her manuscript.

Merrick taught her how to entice men and how to be prim and proper according to the society.

Things got complicated when emotion tangle in the process.

Will Alixe ever trust Merrick with all his scandals?

Did he need to create another to make her believe in him?

Never doubt it for a moment.

He was Merrick St Magnus and he did nothing by halves.
